Sell Wi-Fi packages online

With online sales, customers buy internet access themselves on your Wi-Fi login page and pay with Paystack. Nobody has to hand out cards.

Create packages

1. Open the router, then Online sales, and choose New package.
2. Enter the name customers see, the price, the hotspot profile and how long it is valid (hours after first sign-in), with optional time and data limits.
3. A package cannot be edited once it is on sale, because it explains past sales. To change one, stop selling it and add a new one.

What customers see

On your Wi-Fi login page they pick a package, enter their email and pay with Paystack. Their code shows straight away and is emailed to them. Later they can find it again under My purchases.

Where the money goes

Each sale lands in your wallet as soon as Paystack confirms the payment, less the platform's fee if the pricing page lists one. See Your wallet, withdrawals and your plan.

Before it works

• The router needs its hotspot login address and your login page: see Set up the hotspot on your MikroTik.
• The walled garden must let customers reach your portal and Paystack before they sign in. Card payments that need a bank's security page may also need that bank's address there; bank transfer and USSD do not.
