Hotspot profiles, users and voucher cards
Set speeds and limits with profiles, add hotspot users, and print voucher cards to sell for cash.
Everything here is on each router's pages in your portal: open Routers, then the router.
Hotspot profiles
A profile holds the rules every user or voucher on it gets:
- Upload and download speed, in Mbps.
- Session limit: signed out after this long in one session.
- Idle timeout: signed out after this long without traffic.
- Devices per user: how many devices can use one login at once.
The platform creates each profile on the router with a name starting saas-. Profiles you made on the router yourself are left alone.
Hotspot users
For regular customers with their own username and password. Each user has a profile, and can also have:
- a data limit (upload and download together) and a time limit (total time online),
- an end time, when the user is disabled automatically,
- a lock to one device, by its MAC address.
Online now shows who is connected and lets you disconnect anyone.
Voucher cards
Vouchers are codes you print and sell for cash, in your shop or through agents.
- Open Vouchers and choose New batch: the profile, how many, and the limits.
- Valid for counts hours from the code's first sign-in. Time online and Data are limits within that window.
- Print the batch: each card has its code and a QR code that signs the customer in.
A code's validity starts at its first sign-in, so cards can wait in a shop for weeks without losing time.
